I moved to Canberra in 1996 with 20 years experience in the optical industry and relaunched Unique Optical in March 2000 to bring the best in fashion and technology to Manuka. In 2010, we relocated to Manuka Terrace having outgrown our location in Manuka Village. As a group we have been together for 19 years. I am so fortunate to have such a fantastic, professional and particular team.

Our practice is fitted with 2 consulting rooms, a preliminary screening room & an onsite lab. The benefits for our onsite lab is quality control and an overall quicker turnaround time for the delivery of glasses to our patients.

In 2010, I was invited by Essilor to attend their University in Paris and we were rewarded by having access to the newest designs in lenses. I travel to the major Optical Expo's in Munich, Milan, New York and Paris to bring the newest in fashion and technology. I meet most of the designers and manufacturers of the brands we carry. We aspire to achieve the best vision in lenses and offer frames we know are fashionable and durable. It's our Passion!
